Pre District High...Personal Statement
Hi my name is Daniel Chtay and I am from Salado Texas. I have played football since I was in third grade and have always been in love with it. I have always been the kicker and have loved the position. Throughout my life I have played many other sports. I played basketball, hockey, golf, discus, baseball, and most importantly soccer. I was the varsity goalkeeper my freshman year but left once the season ended to pursue my football career. Thankfully it was the right choice because I was the varsity starting kicker my sophomore year. That season and my freshman season, I have never missed a PAT or field goal. What sets me apart from other athletes is my mindset. I understand that I have a job to do and that nothing worth having comes easy. Of course this goes for academics as well. I understand that as a student-athlete, my education comes first.

- I tied the camp for first during the field goal charting going nine for ten on field goals. I was able to speak to Coach Chris Petrilli about future interactions and the steps to get there.
Training
- Strength and Conditioning Performance Camp
- 4 years
- I have always done performance camp every summer since 6th grade. Coach Alan Haire would start training two weeks into the summer break and continue until football season.
- Football skills camp
- 3 years
- During the strength and conditioning performance camp, Coach Haire would also host football skills camp three days a week. Here we worked on basic skills before the season. I personally did a lot of kicking over there and have improved significantly because of these practices with Coach Haire.
