Brandon Tumlinson '19 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goals are to further my education by playing college football and pursue my degree in business management. I am an athlete that knows how much work must be put in to achieve excellence, I am a leader on the field and encourage my team mates to put in the hard work that is needed to achieve our goals as a team. I believe in leading by example and never expect more from my team mates then the efforts that I deliver. With that said, I do set the bar very high. I train 12 months out of the year and I have been very successful at bringing more team mates into my workout program and encourage them to excel on and off the field. In my 9th grade year as a freshman running back on varsity, i have learned a lot from my fellow teammates how to excel on and off the field. I have also learned to the importance in the classroom and to encourage my team mates to excel Also I have learned that it starts in the classroom and it is a privilege to be able to step onto the football field. I have a 3.0 GPA  as of now and my goal is to have by the end of my freshman year is a 3.5 GPA. I'm different from others by my way of learning and communicating with my teachers, i keep a strong relationship with all my teachers to be able to talk to them on a personal level i look at them as building blocks towards my career.
