Alexander O'Neill '13 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Alex O'Neill and I am a senior at Reicher Catholic High School, in Waco, Texas, where I have a 3.9 GPA. I play slot receiver, as well as strong safety, and athlete. I'm 5'11", 185lbs, and run a 4.49 40 yard dash. I also performed at the National Underclassmen Combine where I benched 185lbs 19 times, and jumped a 37.5in vertical, bringing home 1st in bench reps at WR position, and 1st in vertical. I also ran a 4.06 shuttle at the Rice football camp. I was a starter on offense and defense my junior year, playing multiple positions on defense. I have also been on the Varsity team since my freshman year, when we won the State Championship. On and off of the field I am a leader. I strive to be the best in everything that I do, and refuse to settle for less. In the weight room, I am always the first in and last out, believing that hard work DOES pay off. In college, I want to attend a school that will allow for me to grow academically, as well as athletically. I would love to attend school in the South or East, but am open to attending any school. My personal choice would be to attend a school in a more competitive division, small or large, with at least decent academics. I am undeided in my major, and have the desire and work ethic to play at the highest level of competition possible.
