Dakota Gilliam '22 Recruiting Profile

My goals for college are to excell both athletically as well as academically on and off of the football field. I like to think of myself as a quick learner and a hard worker in both of these categories. One specialty I can offer to a football team is that I am well versed in every position on the offensive aswell as defensive line.  I strive to be the best team member I can for those next to me and I am willing to put in the work both mentally and physically to better myself for my team and teammates. I am a great academic with high grades and also graduating high school with not only with my diploma but also an associates in Heath Science at the end of this year. I hope to continue with the health sciences and dream to become an ER doctor as my career outside of football. Currently I am a volunteer at my local fire department and am trying to currently work in an EMT-B course so that I can take my NREMT test and become an EMT along with my studies toward my doctorate.
