Damon Rodgers '18 Recruiting Profile

When I first played organized football in high school I knew that it was a sport that I wanted to continue to play.  It motivated me.  My bond with my teammates grew on and off the field.  We became brothers.  I started to play football later than most of my teammates but I caught on.

I understand the game and my responsibilities.  I can't recall missing a practice,  training or required team event.  I am as dedicated to football and practice as I am to my class work and homework. 

Initially, I didn't see a lot of playing time but I knew that I had to put in the work - I knew that I had what it took to play.   In short I am dedicated, determined and willing to learn and most of all patient but diligent.  I bring my knowledge, leadership and level head to the game and the team.  My ultimate goal is to play at the highest level possible and obtain a high quality education that will allow me to meet my short and long term goals.
