Personal Statement
I have been playing football since I was 7 years old. I started in league football when we lived in Macon, Georgia. My family moved to Monticello, Arkansas in 2007, and I played league football for 3 years there. During my 6th grade year, we moved to Elkins, West Virginia, and I played junior high football my 7th grade year in Elkins, West Virginia. We moved to Lufkin, Texas the summer of my 8th grade year. I joined the 8th grade football team, and played on defense. After I moved to the high school, I was an offensive line starter on the 9th grade football team in Lufkin, Texas. I believe having moved often, and having worked with different coaches and coaching styles has made me a better player.
I am willing to put in the work necessary to be the best I can be, and better than the competition. I am very coachable, hard working, and respectful. I have been taught to place a high value on my education, and know that I need to be prepared for life after football. I am focused on my goals of becoming not only a veterinarian, but also a competitive college athlete.
