I am a senior but played on the PG team for FORK UNION MILITARY ACADEMY where I started as Right Guard. Prior to this year I also started as D Tackle and can play both positions equally well. My senior film features me as Guard but my Junior film highlights me on defense.
I will not have access to my cell phone or any social networks, only my school email

MY STORY:
I grew up in Ayer, MA in a single parent home with my mother and older sister Kaylah. As kids, my sister and I learned the importance of hard work and higher education as we witnessed our mother struggling to provide for us while putting herself through college with the goal of making a better life for us. These values are instilled in me and motivate me to be successful in all that I do. My high school career has been a bit unorthodoxed as I have transferred multiple times due to circumstances beyond my control but each transfer has served as a stepping stone, helping me to learn and grow with each new challenge.
I moved to Townsend, MA in 2007 & attended the public high school there for 1 year. I wasn't very happy there and my youth coach, who had become Head Coach at Lawrence Academy recruited me to go there. The school required me to repeat my Freshman year as they had a special freshman program that concentrates on the fundamentals. I attended Lawrence Academy in Groton, MA my freshman through junior years. In 2011 I transferred to Cushing Academy in Ashburnham, MA and was advised by my coach to repeat my junior year there and I am now playing on the Varsity PG team at Fork Union Military Academy in Fork Union, VA. With each transfer I have played in a more competitive league which has helped make me a better football player in preparation for playing at the collegiate level. I'm 6' 4", 285 lbs. and have been playing football since I was 8 years old. I have many years of experience playing most positions on both sides of the line but particularly Tackle, Guard, Nose Guard and Center. I have been coached and mentored by some of the most knowledgable and talented coaches, trainers and former NFL players such as Chris Slade, Mike Morris, Irving Eatman and Curtis McGriff. I have a 3.4 cumulative GPA & my overall GPA for last year was 3.66. I always strive to do my best and challenge myself both in the classroom and on the football field.
I've been a starter on the Offensive Line since my freshman year at Lawrence Academy and have been on the Defensive Line throughout LA's past two State Championships and one New England championship where I took over for one of our best D Line starters due to injury and started both ways at Cushing last year. In the summer of 2010, I attended FBU Camp and was invited to attend Top Gun Camp in Virginia as a Defensive Lineman where I performed at the top of my class. I have learned that I absolutely love playing defense and have a real knack for it. I have quick feet, explosion off the line and power which has given me the ability to take down my opponent no matter what size. During the three years that I played at Lawrence Academy, the LA Spartan's record was 24-2 overall. As a junior I was awarded ISL- League Honorable Mention and Lineman of the year. I was elected to be Captain for what would have been my senior year before deciding to transfer and repeat my junior year at Cushing Academy.
Due to my coach Mike Taylor leaving at the end of the football season at Lawrence Academy, sanctions and other issues at the school, all 6 remaining returning starters decided as a group to transfer to Cushing Academy. I decided to repeat my junior year at Cushing to get more exposure for recruiting and to continue to develop as an athlete. This proved to be a wise decision as I fractured my fibula from an illegal hit in the very 1
st game of the season. However, I was determined to get back in the game as quickly as possible so I rehabilitated myself in 5 short weeks and played the entire second half of the season. Even though I was still playing with an injury that wasn't fully healed, I gave it my all and helped my team win all remaining games.
This year was huge for me as I played at the highest level on a post-grad team with the best competition I have ever had. Between the excellent coaching I received and the high level of competition, I feel that I am now much better prepared to play at the collegiate level both physically and mentally. I played with and against guys committed to top BCS schools and not only held my own but excelled and shined as you will see when you view my new highlight.
Football is and always has been my favorite sport and it is my dream to play D1 collegiate football at a top-notch university. I train diligently 5-6 days/wk in the off season and continually push to challenge myself to improve on a daily basis. I always make sure that I am the first one to arrive to practice or a workout and the last one to leave. I take my sport and training very seriously and pride myself on my work ethics, but I’m also a well-rounded individual off the football field with a strong desire to learn and I have a passion for drawing and music.
