I have been playing the sport of football since I was 10 years old, along with basketball, baseball, and track. Football is by far my favorite sport. I enjoy learning and being challenged in every aspect of the game. Football has taught me many traits like discipline and teamwork. I am constantly in the weight room getting stronger, and on the field getting faster. I take pride in being reliable and consistent. I am always early, prepared, and go the extra mile to improve my football skills. Outside of the football season I play basketball and participate in track. Basketball helps with my hand-eye coordination, awareness, and my ability to high point the football. In track I run the 100, 4x4, and throw the discus, which help me with flexibility, speed, and strength.
Outside of sports I maintain a high GPA and take advanced math classes. Going into my junior year I plan on participating in the Running Start program and look forward to exploring a career path in engineering. Like football I enjoy being challenged academically.
I take initiative and personal responsibility for my health and wellness and I’m highly motivated to compete at the next level after highschool. I want to go to a college where I can explore a career in engineering while also competing at a high level. Despite being one of the youngest in my class I have excelled both athletically and academically. So competing at the highest level whether that is DIII or DI is of utmost importance to me. After college I plan to go into the career of coaching.
