My name is Caleb Dalgleish and I come from a big military (USAF) family of six kids - five boys and one sister. As we moved a lot, all the boys wrestled and played football which became the best way to get quickly get plugged into whatever community we moved to. After winning the "triple crown" in the Alaska State Wrestling Championship in my weight division, I decided to step away from wrestling to focus on football. Moving down to Snoqualmie, WA in 2014 and eventually playing football under Coach Charlie Kinnune on the Mount Si High School Wildcats in the King County (KingCo) 4A division has been the most rewarding experience of my life so far. In 2017, my oldest brother was recruited by the U.S. Coast Guard Academy to play football at the college level. Not only was I excited for him, I was inspired to reach for that goal myself. Over the years, my identity as a football player has been rooted in my intense work ethic, my grit, my athleticism and my intellect. My love for sports, athletes and the athletic "ethos" was perfectly captured in Theodore Roosevelt's famous "Man in the Arena" quote. More than anything, I am committed to the players standing next to me on the field. I commit to living with integrity and doing everything within my power to bring honor and success to my team.
