In my youth and high school sports career I have played a total of 5 sports which in high school became three; football, basketball, and track. All these sports have helped me become stronger, faster, and more coordinated as an athlete, and they have taught me how to push myself to become able to adapt in most situations. I have learned how to talk to people, make friends, and be a good teammate. Team sports have also taught me that even if you don't like someone you can still work well together and succeed as a team. Sports has also taught me how to be a leader and a man of my word with integrity.
In my many different sports seasons I have been able to play on some really good teams and some really bad teams too. Some of these teams I have been undefeated and on others we didn't win a single game. I feel like I grew more and learned more about myself through the really bad seasons. No matter how bad the previous season was I always came back to that team. Returning back to those really bad teams shows how much I love the sport. Through sports I have learned what it takes to improve myself and my skills and how to listen and follow through with instructions. Sports taught me how to earn the things that I wanted.
I started at quarterback my freshman year for our undefeated freshman team, and I led the league champion varsity team in receptions and receiving yards in 2022 as a sophomore. I swung between JV and varsity as a sophomore for the league champion and 4th place in state basketball team and I made districts as a sophomore in long jump, 200 meters, and 4 x 100 relay.
I work hard in the classroom and I understand that doing well in school is required to be able to play football at the level I desire. History is currently my favorite subject and I hope to be able to study it in college as well.
