Personal Statement
I grew up in a football family. We were either getting together watching on TV, or at going to games. We had season tickets to the Mountaineers for years. I knew from an early age that getting up on gameday, traveling to the stadium, watching the players walk into the stadium in their dress suits, hearing the vibration of the stadium, that I never wanted to watch a game from the stadium seats when I was older. As I grew, being left-handed was trying at times. When I was introduced to long snapping, I knew I found my calling. It has been an incredible journey learning from some of the country's best snappers, however there is a difference in competition snapping to snapping in a game, running down field, making a block or even tackling the receiver. I absolutely love being a part of a team. I have spent 7 years being part of a team and cannot imagine my life without that brotherhood. As I plan for the next chapter of my life by furthering my education, I pray that I can somehow contribute to an organization and use my skills as a long snapper to help that team excel.
