Personal Statement
My name is Zander Huffman. My desire is to play football collegiately and earn a college degree that will prepare me for my future. My strong faith in God and strong family support system has helped prepare me for success as well as dealing with hard times and struggles. I am committed to seeing my goals come to pass and I will work tirelessly to accomplish them. I enjoy the arenas of competition and preparation. I really enjoy practice and drills and love working in the weight room. My academics are very important and I plan on attending a university that challenges me both academically and athletically. I feel that I am a leader and have been told as much by coaches and teachers. Many times my leadership style is by example but I can be vocal as well when I feel that is needed. I look forward to hearing from and meeting the coaches who are interested in me. I know that with God and my family I will not fail. I believe I will be an asset to the University and Athletic program that in the end is the best match for my talents and intelligence.
I am eager to learn and to became a better athlete, student and person. I look forward to building relationships with my coaches and teammates to accomplish common goals and to share success, in life and on on the field. I enjoy new challenges and finding out new things about myself. Many lessons I have learned about life and success have been through football and wrestling but did not always involve winning or losing.
