It would mean the world to me to play college football. I have been in pads and helmet since the third grade. In middle school I was named team captain for the first game each season. I have been on varsity since my sophomore year and started every game my junior year. Historically I have played right and left tackle, but was moved to center this year just a couple of weeks before the first game. I snapped every ball , until we were up by more than 30 points and they sent in second string. I work out seven days a week lifting weights, and I can leg press about 700 pounds. I squat 365 pounds. I was named Practice Player of the Year last year, and I never miss practice. I am never late for practice. I am well-liked by my teammates and coaches. I am fearless on the line.
I take Advanced Placement classes each semester. When I was younger, my parents had me tested by a private retired school psychologist, who found my mental processing speed is in the 99.9th percentile. I recently attended State Latin Convention, where I finished 4th in the State in Greek Vocabulary out of all of the Latin III students. I gave a soliloquy in British Literature and was the only kid in class who got a standing ovation.
I have been playing upright bass in the school orchestra since 4th grade and I have made State Honors Orchestra at both the middle school letter and the high school letter. The audition results have not yet come out from last weekend, but it is anticipated that I will be first or second chair out of the entire State of Wisconsin.
I am also a part of my school's Leadership Team. It is a group of athletes that vote and make decisions based around sports that our school offers.
