Personal Statement

My name is Orion Boe.  I’m in the Class of 2021. I play Inside Linebacker and Fullback for D.C. Everest High School in Schofield, Wisconsin.  As a Sophomore, I led the team in tackles and sacks.  I was the only Sophomore to start on Varsity in many years.  This year, I was able to double my tackle stats and was selected First Team All-Conference ILB and FB. We went from a 2-7 season last year to making the playoffs and winning in the first round.  This year, I was very proud to be a part of that.  

I’m also a 3-time letter winner for the Wrestling Team and a Captain. I competed in the 220 pound weight class this year at the State Championship and took 3rd place. My goal is to win a State Championship next year. I know I wouldn’t be as successful as I have been on the football field without Wrestling. I started off this spring with track and lifting but due to COVID-19 that brought an end to school activities. Luckily I have a weight room in my basement and have been able to workout at my home. Also along with lifting I’ve been doing various drills outside as much as I can.
