Coleman Barranco '20 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'9" point guard at Vestavia Hills High School, a 7A High School in Birmingham, Alabama. I have been on the Varsity basketball team for the last 3 years and have been the starting point guard for the last 2 years. I have played competitive travel basketball for the last 9 years and have been the starting point guard for the last 4 years.

I realized at an early age that Basketball was my passion and it has been my primary focus for the last 5 years. I have a very hard work ethic and am committed to doing whatever it takes to make it to the next level. I work everyday,  practice or not, to improve my game and be the best basketball player I can be. The two most common places to find me are in the gym getting up shots and playing pickup, and in the weight room working on my strength,  speed, and vertical. 

I have a very solid academic background and plan to study Bussiness with the hope of using this degree to break into the sports industry.   I am considering any college that will allow me to get both a solid education and play basketball at a highly competitive level.  One thing I can promise is that I will be an asset to whatever school I attend and I will do whatever it takes to make my team be as successful as they can be.
