Hi my name is Jacob Calloway and I aspire to play Basketball in college. I've been playing ever since I was in 4th grade but it didn't become a huge part of my lifestyle till about 7th or 8th grade. My freshmen year I was later cut from my jv squad and I only played for the freshmen C team, the following summer to that season I worked hard in the off season and made varsity. My whole sophomore season I played only varsity and I was even put into the starting line up near the end of the year, my squad later won our first conference tittle in school history and had the best record in school history also at 20-8, we lost in the first round at the state tournament by 4. The summer going into my junior year I attended many basketball camps to work on my skills. It showed when season came around as I was able to average 16 points a game that year while shooting 50% FG and 40% from 3, I was also able to lead my team to another conference tittle and another great season, our record was 20-9. My team lost 9 seniors so I knew I was going to have to do a bunch for my team going into my senior year, so that summer and off season I started doing 2 a days and when season came closer I started doing 3 a days. As of right now I lead my team in points rebounds steals and blocks. I average about 22-23 PPG 11 Rebounds 4 steals and 3 blocks. I also am an active member in my community I help with a clinic helping teach young kids how to play basketball on Saturday morning, I will ref parks and rec games from time to time, I coached a parks and rec team a few years ago, and I was an altar boy for my church for a little bit.
