Andrew Hahn '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Andrew Hahn. I just finished my sophomore year at Chandler Preparatory Academy. I am a B student, with my course load containing 4 honor classes per semester. My goal when I’m older is to do something in business, so I would like to go to a college that offers business degrees.  I’ve been playing basketball since I was 6 years old. I always try to keep a positive attitude on and off the court.  This helps me think through many problems. My play style is a driver, but when they give me space I won’t hesitate to shoot threes.  

Last year as a freshman I was a starter on the varsity team, for last 25 games of the season. I was the leading scorer on my team, averaging 13 points per game for the season. I mostly drove for layups but I would shoot a lot of threes too if they gave me space. I got second team all-region for my conference at the end of the year.

Over this last year, I planned on increasing my vertical and improving my ball-handling skills, as well as continuing to work on my jump shot.  Unfortunately, I was out this entire year due to an injury in a game, but I have been very committed to my rehab.  My shot has gotten a lot better since that has all I have been mostly working on since I have been hurt.  I look forward to finishing my rehab and playing again for my school team this fall.
