Hello, my name is David Brewer. I am a 2024 senior for Marion High School located in Marion, AR. My parents have pictures of me when I was three sitting on the sideline watching my older brother play basketball. I started playing basketball at the age of 5. I started playing AAU basketball when I was in the second grade. I played for the Arkansas greyhounds. I knew then I wanted to play basketball at a college level when I graduated high school. My love for the game is unmatched. I watch film and study many basketball players so I can advance my game. I played school basketball from 7th grade through 12th grade. I am a well- rounded guard, a great leader on and off the court. strong ball handling skills, I can shoot the ball very well ,and also have very great basketball iq and awareness. I know the game very well, I play strong physical defense, mental toughness , rebound the ball very well and know how to get my teammates involved . I have been rewarded with all conference twice my junior and senior year , also winning mvp in the Carbondale showcase with 22 points 5 rebounds and 3 assists.Not only am I an athlete but I am a student athlete with an 3.5 gpa. My goal is to attend a college where I can push myself on and off the court. my desire is to become a great role model to all my peers in my community and to make my parents proud
