I have been playing basketball since I was 7. I have worked very hard on and off the court to best put myself in a position where I could continue to play basketball at the collegiate level. My game consists of strong ballhandling and a very high Point Guard IQ. I always try and put my 5 in the best position to score, whether that be playing a 2-man pick-and-roll game or attacking open space and playing off of 2 feet to try get the best shot possible. I also have deep range and have been known to have the ability to light teams up from behind the line when I get hot. Alongside my 3-point jumper, I have my sweet spots in the mid-range that I go to whenever my team needs a bucket. I take pride in being a pesky defender who is willing to put my body on the line by either picking up full court or finding opportunities to take a charge. What sets me apart from most however is my ability to communicate on the court. I am loud at practice and my talking always stays consistent. In games, I am able to communicate with teammates in order to get spacing correct or draw up last second attempts at scoring. Off the court, I am involved in many other leadership roles. I am in the Executive Cabinet of ASB (Associated Student Body), and am in a multitude of clubs. I love to stay connected with my peers and create strong bonds with them. In the classroom, I take a challenge and take many rigorous Honors and AP courses while still maintaining a 4.6 GPA. I have found the time to manage my basketball, school, and friends all at once. I would love to attend a college where the athletics and academics are at a high-level. I hope that I can take my God-given talent to a good college that will best guide me to a successful career after my basketball career ends.
