Johnny Semany '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Johnny Semany and I am the starting Point Guard at Lawrence University. I entered the transfer portal on March 23, 2023, and I have three years left of eligibility.

Freshman Stats; 28 MPG,  8.4 PPG,  3.3 RPG,  2.4 APG,  39% FG,  41% 3PT,   78 % FT, 1 charge per game.

As a freshman, I was fortunate enough to receive a great opportunity to play at LU and played 28 minutes per game for 725 minutes at the college level. I have a strong relationship with my coaches and with my teammates and had a very positive basketball experience.

My strengths are leadership, court vision, getting to the line, taking charges, and creating more possessions for my team! My goal is to find a larger school for the social aspect and a larger platform for basketball. I am willing to take on any necessary role that is asked of me. 

I have lived in the Midwest, and on the West Coast, and am open to a variety of schools that offer a good fit both academically (GPA of 3.5) and athletically (competitive) that has a strong Business curriculum regardless of location.  My hope is to find the right culture which emphasizes selfless players who enjoy playing with one another and ALWAYS put the team first.
