Hi, I am Aidan Shelby. I am passionate about basketball and work hard. I put in an average of 2.5 hours a day of skills work in the off season. I am a 6'5" starter for my varsity basketball team and also for my travel team, Battle Born. I am a great two way player. If your roster needs a small forward/shooting guard who can create their own shot, find open teammates and be a leader on defense, then I would be an asset to your team. I am a good decision maker on and off the court. All of my coaches have complemented me on my ability to be coached and my leadership. I recognize that our team is more than just me and I work to make sure everyone gets opportunities on the court.
I know college is important and necessary to build strong relationships and gain knowledge and experience that will benefit me throughout my life. I plan to study Psychology and get my doctorate.
I have high expectations for myself. I have always set goals for myself and do my best to put in the work to achieve each goal. I spend extra hours honing my basketball skills and I am willing to accept constructive criticism to improve. I am a dedicated student and currently have a 3.43 weighted GPA. I take honors and AP classes when they are offered and I know how important my education is to my future.
I appreciate your time!
Aidan
