Dilroop Chahal '22 Recruiting Profile

“ I may not be the best player in the gym but I will be the hardest worker to achieve that”

My name is Dilroop Chahal and I am currently attending Benjamin Holt College Preparatory Academy.  I am a 6'2" Shooting Guard who is in the Class of 2022. My goal is to play basketball at the highest stage possible. Staying in the gym and working on my game is the most fun thing for me. On and off the court I am always trying to be the best version of myself. I am a strong student and have a GPA of 4.1. My goal has always been to be the best version of myself on and off the court. I am always trying to push my teammates to make sure they can reach their full potential. I want my teammates and everyone around me to succeed whether it's on the court or in school. 

   In my sophomore year, I averaged  3.8 points per game, 2.6 rebounds, and 0.4 assists. I shot 44.4% from the three, attained a field goal percentage of 52.1%, and a 53.8% field goal percentage. I averaged eight minutes a game on the Varsity roster, starting some games as well. I was coming off from being a practice squad player during my Freshman Year. This off-season I have been working on becoming more stronger, athletic, and more explosive. Along with doing that I have been working on my shot and tightening up my handle. I am someone who has a love for the game and the process that comes with it. I believe what makes me different from others is that I love the game and I love it when my teammates receive success. My goal is always to connect my success with my teammates because that is the way we can succeed on the court. I would love any advice that could help me take my game to the next level.
