Personal Statement,
Ever since I was introduced to the sport of basketball, I always gave it my 100% to the game and worked very hard on getting my game better. Although I am a starter on varsity as a sophomore, I dedicate a lot of my time practicing and exercising in order to perform to the best of my ability during game time. This includes practicing during schedule practice hours with the team and on my own time at home. As well as that, having one on one communication with my coach has helped me improve my basketball skills which further motivates me to be the best of the best. Additionally, I would like to describe myself as a leader who is very coach-able, has good ball handling skills and great at shooting the ball. Furthermore, not only do I self-motivate myself but I like to encourage my teammates in every possible way. I am also very committed to everything that I do.
I also manage to keep a high GPA and be an honor roll student. I always give it my all in the classroom as well to maintain good grades and GPA of a 3.5 or above. I never give up in the class or on the court because I want to continue to make my parents proud.
