- ActivitiesI currently lead a program called E-hoops where I serve the special needs families of my local community. The program encourages typical kids and special needs kids to play and learn the game of basketball together. We have partnerships with the Golden State Warriors and USF which help bring awareness and support to the program we offer for absolutely free to families across the Bay Area. In my time serving special needs families across the Bay Area, I've learned of the significance of inclusion. Through inclusion, you are building confidence in special needs kids, but you are also bringing awareness to typical kids. Through sports such as basketball, you are encouraged to meet at a common ground which is the love for basketball and physical activity. This is where I have developed my interest in teaching but also giving back to the community.
