Christian Gonzalez '23 Recruiting Profile

My goals are to play basketball at the college level while pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance on an academic or sports scholarship. I am a leader on and off the court. I can positively change the mood of the game when I am on the court. When I am off the floor, I strive to keep the team motivated and focused to complete our goal. Personally, I believe that I have a high IQ for the game as well as a great work ethic. Athletically, I can create shots for myself and my teammates, open the floor for smoother transitions and play defense on the other end. I communicate to my teammates, close-out on every shot that goes off, box-out the shooter or offensive player, and get the rebound. I use the same mindset when it comes to school and academics as well. I do everything I can to maintain A's and B's by studying daily, asking questions to my professors when in doubt, and learn the subject by heart.
