As a first-generation college student of Hispanic descent, I recognize the sacrifices my parents made to provide me with these incredible opportunities. Because of this, I have become motivated and driven to pursue my dream of playing college volleyball. My cousin, who achieved her dream of playing collegiate basketball, despite comparable and even more difficult feats, was an important figure who inspired me to go the extra mile.

Thanks to such significant people in my life, I have been motivated to excel in every aspect of my future. Academically, I strive to be the top student of my class, obtaining the greatest grades, while pursuing classes that encourage me to achieve future success. My passionate and courageous self not only helps me grow in school, but also helped me earn the position as captain in both my school and club teams. I've grown to understand the importance of communication along with creating positive bonds with my teammates. I am certain that I can contribute my skills and abilities to make the right fit for your college!
