My desire as a high school student athlete is to be a driving force towards leading my team to win our first conference championship in school history and to advance deep into regional play, if not win a championship there as well. I plan to accomplish this through extensive preparation and by utilizing the resilient work ethic I have built over a period of time. A main goal of mine is to always help those around me to be better players, to be a leader on and off the court, and to be the best defender in every game, regardless of how well the offensive side is flowing. My goals are to be able to use my basketball skills to play competitively for a college that not only will help me grow as a player, but as a student. I plan to work for everything and do not like to have things given to me, but instead to earn them. My dedication to both basketball and my studies are the same in that I want to be the best I can be at both. This is shown through my current 4.0 GPA and my winning of the Heart of a Warrior award last year for my basketball team. I want to positively impact all those around me, both on and off the court, and I want people to desire to have me on their team or in their circle because they see me as someone with incredible work ethic, high integrity and character, and someone that will battle with them for their benefit, moreso that my own.
