Personal Statement
I aspire to be the best possible student-athlete I can be. I look to study in the field of medicine in college, and while doing so, nothing would bring me greater joy than to be able to play the sport I love and have worked hard at throughout the course of my life. I am not one to shun opportunities and would play at any level for anyone who is willing to take a chance on me. I look to break the stigma of Indian and Sri Lankan athletes in basketball as that is not something that is common in today's society. I am an Advanced Placement Student at one of the hardest high schools in the country and maintain a good GPA while taking college level classes, and so this gives you assurance that I am not one to be worried about academically. I am very coachable, and will always do what is asked of me to the best of my abilities. I greatly appreciate you taking the time out of your day to read this.
