We sincerely appreciate your interest in Barry Men’s Basketball. Scrappy, hard playing guard with a real nose for the ball. Plays the game with great pace and knows how to get to his spots on the floor. Can score at all 3 levels and is able to create space off the bounce. Does a nice job of changing speeds to keep defenders off balance. Finishes well with both hands in the paint and plays well off 2 feet. His tenacity and effort around the rim really stood out as well. He was a multiple effort guy on the glass and really proved to make an impact on the game strictly with his effort! Marcus could be a really good asset for a team looking for rebounding and energy from the guard spot. As you build, mature your game and build upon your solid IQ. Must continue to build on polishing skills such as jumpshot, ball handling and creating space to become the most complete player possible. Study the game to learn college level reads, especially in ball screen situations, Watch film on yourself to find areas of your game to improve upon! As the level of play increases, the better the players become. Continue to add muscle to build your body for durability and ability to take contact on drives and going to the rim.
