Jackson Henningfi...Personal Statement
I have been playing basketball since I was in Kindergarten! I love playing the game, I love watching the game and I have dreamed of playing college basketball for a really long time! The college I attend must have a distinguished Engineering program, as my education is just as important to me as the game of basketball. I want to go anywhere that challenges me in the classroom and on the court.
I am a great candidate for your team because of three major things: my basketball IQ, my work ethic and my commitment to the game. I'm coachable and always ready for a challenge. I am honest, hard working and dependable, both on and off the court.
I have been fortunate enough to participate in the Adidas Phenom 150 camp in San Diego, CA for the past 3 years, have played on various AAU, club teams and travel teams allowing me to play against some of the best talent in the country.
Currently, I am attending Lyman High School and have a 4.5 GPA.
During my junior season, I averaged 10 points and 7 rebounds a game, as my high school team finished 9-16. While our season as a team was inconsistent at times, I did receive some individual honors such as the All-State Academic Team and the All-State Team from the Florida Athletic Coaches Association. I lead my team in rebounds and blocks and was third in scoring. I continue to work on my game and stay diligent in the classroom as I move into my senior season.
My goal is to play college basketball, earn my degree in Engineering and represent my school, my team and my family with pride.

- Jackson Henningfield, a 6'4 195 lb prospect out of Lyman High School (FL), is a young post player that plays very hard. He showed the ability to drive to the basket and finish in traffic. We would like to see him get faster and develop some go-to post moves.

- Will provide scouting video, highlight video and evaluation Evaluation: Jackson Henningfield, a 6'3 190 lb 2017 prospect out of Lyman HS (FL), is a young post player that he has a good feel around the rim and is able to finish at a high level in traffic. He is a capable shooter that is able to space the floor to 15ft and knock it down. Coaches in attendence would like to see him continue to develop his back to the basket post game. He is a player that uses his length to read the passing lanes for steals and deflections.
