I take pride in being a great defensive point guard who stops momentum by disrupting plays, causing turnovers, positioning for rebounds, and basically making opposing guards second-guess themselves. I quickly transition to offense and lead by finding the open man or making moves to free up a man. I often get open to hit some three’s, and I finesse with ball handling to free myself up for jumpers. I have been weight training, and am working to drive harder and faster to the basket. I am working out with local coaches, and former and current college players, to learn more and keep improving. I love the game and am told I have a high basketball IQ. I’m a two-year Varsity starter and a guy who has played the game year-around since age 6 and including travel ball. I am a good student and work hard in my classes. I volunteer with the Special Olympics and I maintain an A average. My ultimate goal is to earn my college degree and keep basketball as a part of my life. If you could use someone like me on your team, I would be honored.
