Madeline Penney '23 Recruiting Profile

        My name is Madeline Penney and attend Leon High School, graduating in  2023. I am a 5'9 guard or point guard. I started playing basketball at a very young age and have stayed  with it ever since. I have always been a goal setter throughout my life. Something that I have always associated myself with is my work ethic and progressing as much as possible with what you have to better yourself. From day one I always was wanting to learn more about the game and what I could do to make myself better. I would ask questions and spend hours in the driveway learning a new move or practicing ball handling or shooting.  After every one of my games I watch the film. I look for the the things that I can improve on, as well as the good things that I can push my self to do more of. My current GPA 3.64 with mostly honors classes. Playing college basketball has always been a goal of mine, and I will continue to work towards that goal.
