I love to play basketball. I've been told my game IQ is high for my age, and I'm able to see the whole court in ways other players can't. This means I execute passes to teammates and anticipate/steal passes from opponents, and in the PG position I run plays like a QB.
I'm a strong student and work hard in the classroom to keep my grades up. I take honors and AP classes to challenge myself and prepare for college. Coaches never have to worry about me losing my eligibility because of grades or off-court behavior.
I've never been in trouble at school or in the community--no referrals, no tickets, no arrests. My character is the most important thing to me because it will outlast athletics and academics. But it also impacts both right now. I treat my teammates, coaches, and teachers with respect and give 100% regardless of what anyone else is doing.
I plan to get a degree in business, and I am working hard to be able to play basketball at the next level.
