Kymani Weathers 1...Personal Statement
My name is Kymani Thomas Weathers and I have a burning passion for basketball! I dream of playing college basketball and being a stellar student-athlete. At the age of 15, standing at 6'8" and weighing 185 pounds, I have dedicated my young life to the sport, playing AAU basketball since the age of 10. I have travelled the country playing in tournaments and events such as The Basketball Alliance in Florida, as well as more national events like Made Hoops, EYBL, UA Rise, On The Radar, Junior Phenom, and more. As a member of the Class of 2026, I believe that I have the drive, talent, and determination to contribute to any level college basketball program and ultimately pursue my dream of playing in the NBA.
Currently representing The Villages Charter High School varsity basketball team in Florida, we were crowned 2023 Florida 4A District 6 Regional and District Champions, and Class 4A State Final runner up.
