Joseph Smith '25 Recruiting Profile

Greetings coaches.  I would like to take this time to introduce myself to my future college coach.  My name is Joseph Smith III (Trey) and I am a student athlete in pursuit of an athletic scholarship to continue to play the game of basketball that I love so much and earn a college degree.  I come from a family that values education and has instilled in me a work ethic that's second to none.  My faith keeps me grounded and confident in myself and my abilities to play the point guard and shooting guard positions.  I have a high basketball IQ which allows me to pick up on minor ques during the game and anticipate what happens next on the court.  I am the true epitome of an extension of my coach on the floor.  At this stage of the game, everyone's athletic, everyone can run and jump.  What differentiates me from others?  Great leaders can see greatness in others and are able to help others reach their full potential.  Leaders use failures to grow.  I am that leader you need on your team.  I am that winner you need in your locker room.  Thank you in advance for giving me an opportunity to further my academic and basketball career at the next level.  I look forward to speaking with you soon.
