I Just wanna thank everyone who believed in me and everyone who doubted me. People still doubt me to this day. Everyday i go through " Aaron you're not going to make it" " Aaron you need to work on this and that. " Some coaches didn't even believe in me. Some didn't even put me in the game. That's every hooper's nightmare. I wanted to be great and prove everybody wrong. I practiced in the gym until my wrist got tight from shooting and my fingers got cramped from dribbling. I just want to make it big. I want to help my family with any problems they are going through. I want to help them in any type of way. To me basketball is what makes up Aaron Carey. To other's it may be something to just play. One day i was in my room looking at the Jordan poster in my room and i just started crying. I cried because i want to be in the NBA so bad and get experience the NBA draft and to be all over news articles and magazines. I would make my family proud. Just like most people i'm a typical young boy who loves basketball with a passion and wants to make it big to help his family. I don't really have big offers knocking at my door and this and that but i just hope i can experience that someday. Right now i am playing in summer teams and tournaments getting alot of pts and asts and being defensive and quick. I'm just waiting i don't need to rush my mom always told me my time will come. Before my grandfather passed away i promised him i would help our family in anyway and that i would make it big. I just hope not to break that promise and he told me "your time will come just sit back and do your thing." I just hope to live my dreams......
