Since the age of 5 years old, I have said that I want to play college basketball. I have never waivered from that. Not only going to college, but graduating with a degree is something that I've always been told is a must. Playing basketball at the second level has always been a goal of mine, just as much as getting a degree and good education. At the age of 7, Coach Wayne McClain brought me into the Illini locker room and introduced me to the players. That was my first real dose of college basketball, and the environment and atmosphere it comes with. I feel like everything I've done for the last 13 years has been leading up to this, my time to play college basketball. Academics are my number one priority, I have never struggled with my grades, and just knew along the way that having the grades was just one of necessities on my journey. I'm ready at this point to give my all at the next level. I want to study hard, practice hard, and play hard while I get to do what I love for another 4 years.
