As the only junior in our team’s seven-man rotation this season, I contributed to a historic year, including a 29-4 record, a conference championship, a school-record 25-game win streak, and a ranking as high as #4 in the state. I look forward to stepping into a leadership role next season and continuing our success.
In addition to grit and leadership, game IQ, 3-pt shooting, energy, offensive awareness and defensive toughness are what my coaches mention most often as my strengths on the court. They also value my maturity and character. I believe this is because for 3 years, I attended a 6 week military leadership camp - Culver Military Academy in Culver, IN - where I honed my leadership skills. Grit, tenacity, teamwork and performing under pressure were all important skills for excelling there. My final year, I rose to the highest position in my 42-man unit, and led my unit to a basketball championship, as well as a win in cryptography - a competition that requires performing a very detailed task under intense pressure. My goal is to leverage all of these strengths to take the next step and play basketball at the college level. Please feel free to contact me or my coaches for any additional information.
