Andres Munoz '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Andres J. Munoz (Andy) and I'm a runner for Hinsdale Central High School's Cross Country and Track team in Hinsdale, Illinois.  Our school has an outstanding coaching staff, which includes Coach Westphal, who is an excelllent coach and my role model and inspiration, Coach Lawrence. Coach Lawrence is a person of wisdom, inspiration, determination, and most importantly, discipline. With his 10+ years of coaching experience and his skills obtained through York High School's best Cross Country coach in history who, unfortunately, passed away recently, Coach Lawrence makes an excellent coach. With Coach Lawrence being my mentor who encourages my inspiration, my determination, my grit, and my success, I believe I stand unique to my competition with other competing athletes in the recruiting process. Not only do these traits make me a unique athlete, but one who meets or even exceeds some qualities of a good candidate.  I hope to be acknowledged and considered by browsing coaches all over the nation and one day be recruited for my unique talents and traits that hopefully stand out among the many athletes out there today.
