Volleyball has been my anchor for the past 8 years. The long hours in the gym have groomed me into a disciplined young adult who understands the importance of teamwork, repetition and communication. I am a team first player who truly believe that the best thing for me is whatever is best for the team. I am vocal on the court and always try to get everyone involved because it takes a team to win a championship.
I pride myself in being a leader by example on and off the court. Throughout high school I played volleyball not only at Hinsdale Central High School where I was named MVP senior year, but also at Mizuno Sport Performance in Aurora, Illinois. At Sports Performance I played on 18 Wave (3s) both my 17 and 18s years. The long yet rewarding hours spent in the gym perfecting my craft shaped me into a multidimensional player who lives for the next point.
I played on a scholarship at Campbellsville University for my first year of college volleyball, a NAIA program. CU volleyball was in inaugural season which intrigued me because it was an opportunity to build from the ground up. In 30 matches played during my freshman year at Campbellsville University I led my team in kills (307) and blocks (74). In addition I finished with a 3.89 GPA while also working a job and participating in both spanish and honors club.
I am a 20 year old student athlete looking to fill the next chapter in my career as a student athlete. Campbellsville was not a good fit academically and I took the past semester off to prioritize my goals. I promise that I will be a leader and a teammate on the next team that I am lucky enough to be apart of.
