Jaxson Dian Junio...Personal Statement
Ever since I was able to walk, my dream has been to play collegiate basketball. Now, in high school, that dream has turned more into an aspiration. I have put numerous hours in the gym developing my game to accomplish that aspiration. My strengths on the court occur mostly in transition, and include shooting, handling and beating pressure, and getting teammates open shots. I have very good court vision and can always get my teammates a shot either around the rim or beyond the arc. On the defensive end, I love playing fast and aggressive to force turnovers. I'm a very good communicator and leader on the offensive and defensive ends of the floor.
Off the court, I love to get out in the community to help and interact with others. In the classroom, I challenge myself with difficult classes and have maintained a very high GPA all throughout middle school and high school.
In conclusion, I am open to finding the college that is the best fit for me. I would like to find a college that will help me grow more not only as an athlete, but as a better overall person that will have a successful career after college.
