Preston Sims '25 Recruiting Profile

I LOVE basketball.  I not only enjoy playing but love learning about the game!  My basketball IQ is strong, and I have been told by all coaches that I have the gift of seeing the floor defensively and offensively.

I have been playing for a long time, but I am continuing to work on private instruction and coaching to continue to strengthen my skills.  I am long, long arms, long legs and can block and can play very strong defensively.  I enjoy playing defense as much as offense; this is so important to me.  I love to be on a team where we are all working together to move the ball and make things happen!

I am confident that I can bring so much to any program as I will continue to focus on opportunities and ways that I can improve as a player to better my team!  I like to be coached and feedback is something I know we all need and what will ultimately make me better!  I have made so many lifelong friends with the game of basketball.  My dream is to play in college and then continue to coach.  Right now, I am working with young kids to learn the game of basketball.

I know I will be a great addition to any team.  My character is strong, my work ethic is excellent, and I am agile and quick for my height.  I am looking forward to academics at a university and playing ball while going to school is an absolute DREAM!
