Enrico V. Ortega-Chick '26 Recruiting Profile

I see my future as being one that combines education and sports opportunities. In the classroom I am focused and high achieving. Honors and Dual Enrollment courses are a part of my high school academics. On the court I do the most with the time I am given to play in a game. I take in my coach's critique and use it to come out stronger.  There are always ways to improve and grow which I keep in my mind because all that I experience on the court is a lesson. Overall, I believe in having a positive presence and show this through respect, compassion and encouragement.  Also, I make time to take on extra trainings when time allows. My faith has gotten me through some major family losses and my parents have given me a great foundation and expect me to be a good person no matter what. As a team player I utilize all I know to make the greatest impact on the court and when I am not in the game I make sure others know I am encouraging them.
