My name is Osdy Villegas and I am a 5'8, 155 pound combo guard. I have became a great shooter with range beyond the high school three point line and can knock it down constantly which helps spread the floor. I feel comfortable shooting off the catch and off of dribble moves. Ball handling is a strong point of my offense too and I use this ability to get defenders off balance and score or find teammates. I am a aggressive on the ball defender and I loving shutting people down.
While I still have weaknesses to go with my strengths I have never tried to hide them or forget about them. I try to make myself a better and smarter player every single day. I practice on my weakness and try to turn them into strengths one day. I do everything I can to get myself better. I started to workout in the weight room to be a stronger and faster athlete for my varsity season after a horrible season my sophomore year. I started watching film and breakdowns of basketball games to improve my basketball IQ. I'm just a hard worker that is never satisfied and always works for greatness. I am very coach able and I am a fast learner. And as you can tell I have a great work ethic.
Academically I hold a 3.32 GPA and am mostly a A and B student. I am a student athlete that stays out of trouble. I look forward to going to college and doing good things in life. I'm open minded to things and have a sense of humor and overall a easy-to-be with guy. Thanks for taking the time to learn about me.
