Joshua Dueker '17 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing basketball all my life. I love the sport, being part of a team, and everything it stands for - commitment, dedication, teamwork, practice, and hard work. I am a fan of John Wooden who brought out the best in his players and taught them to be of high moral character. That is what I strive to have and to show to others as a role model both on and off the court.

My goal in college is to be the best student, athlete, and example I can be. I live out my faith and lead by example each day. I want to be someone that others can look up to whether it is encouraging teammates, picking them up emotionally if they make a mistake, playing unselfishly, and giving 100% every time I step out on the court to the team. I love not only playing games, but working hard to get better during the season and in the off season.

I am looking for a school where I can study exercise science and play the game I love for four years. In me, you will get a student-athlete that will live your program's values, is coachable, and is committed to doing everything I can to help the team succeed.
