Player Evaluation: Kevin Franz, a 5’6 prospect from Overland Park, Kansas was a solid overall player that really excelled in being that glue-type guy and not needing the spotlight to be effective. There are things he can continue to work on as a young player and finding ways to be more aggressive, but he was incredibly tough on the court. He showed flashes of his strengths in using his offhand more and being able to penetrate, as well as a great attitude for the game. Next in his development, continue to work on your overall impact and the little things in your game on both sides of the ball. Coach said “Work on your shooting and having a quicker release. On defense, continue to improve your lateral quickness. You were tough and physical throughout the camp. When you drive to the rim, make sure to make quicker decisions and learn how to read what the defense is giving you.” Kevin is a player you will see play at the next level if he continues to work on and off the court.

Player Evaluation: Franz, a 5'4 prospect from Kansas and part of the class of 2028, is a young prospect that was able to find where he could best fit in with his team and was able to capitalize on opportunities that were provided. He excelled in areas such as his shot-making from multiple levels, had a fluid release, but also was a guard that played team-basketball and used his quickness to his advantage; good footwork and competitive nature. Next in his development, Franz can continue to improve his back to the basket moves, his ability to penetrate and put the ball on the deck, and more on his defensive presence. Coach Harrison said "Kevin, it has been great coaching you. I wish you nothing but the best. You need to work on the growth of your game. You make good passes but need to be able to see the game before it supposed to happen by knowing and helping your team by taking charge on the floor."
