My name is Payton Cundiff and I play Shooting guard for Southwestern High School in Somerset Ky. I have been the starting varsity shooting guard since I was a sophomore. For as long as I can remember I have dreamed of being a college basketball player. I have dedicated countless hours to basketball whether it be shooting by myself, playing pick-up games, or playing AAU basketball. I have a true passion for the game that I feel translates to the court. I love not only playing basketball, but being around the game. I feel that this time and dedication has increased my basketball abilities and IQ to an elite level. I have sought out ways to improve my skills through many camps and training. I also feel that my leadership abilities will translate into success as a college basketball player.
Academically I feel that I compete at the highest level as well. I have a 4.0 GPA and have taken several Advanced Placement Courses that I feel prepare me for the collegiate level. I am still unsure of what I would like to Major in as a student, but I would like to stay along the lines of Psychology or Education.
I feel that I can bring hard work and and excellence on and off the court. I would like to thank any coach who has taken time to look at my information and give me consideration.
Thank You,
Payton Cundiff
