Andrew Nelson '25 Recruiting Profile

Being coachable and doing the most to win including putting my body on the line whenever I can and filling into any given position is what I pride myself the most on in Basketball. Coming from Arizona and moving to Louisiana as a 7th grader, I learned the hardships of change and how to adapt to different styles of basketball. One of the things I pride myself on is talking and being vocal as much as I can on both the offensive and defensive end of the court. When I moved to a smaller school as an 8th grader, I was the leader of the team as I guarded the best player every game, and I was depended on to have a high offensive output. When I transferred into high school, I slid into my role as a 3 and D player that could facilitate and hit the open shot when needed. I try my hardest to accomplish academic success as I put forth my best effort in the schooling scene. I'm prepared for the hardships and change that will come in the future, as I hope to be the best version of a player and student I can be.
