Nathaniel Benevides '26 Recruiting Profile

I am a Sophomore Men's Varsity basketball athlete for Atlantis Charter School averaging 10.7 PPG, 4 Rebounds, 4 Assists, and 1 Steal, I've played basketball most of my life and have always had dreams and aspirations to play college basketball and develop my game to an NBA/ Pro level. I've never failed or not taken a class serious as academics are first before anything and without me keeping up consistently, I wouldn't be able to even play basketball or stay on the HONOR roll. I make sure I'm not on the same level as everyone around me but I'm many levels away, without my hard work and dedicational work ethic on and off the court I wouldn't be where I am today.  I've been doubted, hated, and  mocked most of my life but I never let that get the best of me. Every time I step on the court I'm presented with a new opportunity and I never hesitate to seize that. Some people might play basketball for fun, others maybe there is nothing else to do but I play basketball because its what makes me, me. Without basketball I'd be lost, it's gotten me through so much and it's never quitted on me because it knows what I'm capable of. Every time I step on that court best believe my team and I are going to perform. I always trust in myself and the hard work I put in, but at the end of the day it's all about how good can I help the team and not just myself. I appreciate you taking the time to read this.
