I, Pruitt Allen will be an asset to any college or university because outside of SPORTS, I'm nice, caring, thoughtful, honest, people person and an outgoing young man. I'm a great listener to others and great friend to many. My friends come to me with issues and ask me, what they should do about things bothering them whether it's at home, school or personal issues. And because I have a great ear and I listen, I have MANY friends and associates who look up to me for those very reasons. They know I'm a team player ON and OFF the court. Because of these qualities, I will be an AWESOME team player both on the court and outside the parameters of school. I genuinely care for ALL people from the very young to the elderly people in wheelchairs and walkers. It's my nature to be caring to all and do the right thing to HELP many people while on this earth.
My grade point is a 2.6 which is average, however, that does not define me. I am a hard worker, ambitious and I take my academics seriously. Initially, I didn't have good study habits, and sometimes I would wait a day or two before an exam to study, but I can earnestly say I've done a 180 and I'm more diligent, dedicated and focused on my studying. My education is #1 and it is before my basketball games and more. I am focused both academically and athletically and for this very reason, I Pruitt Allen will be an asset to any college or university. I will come to the table with a lot to offer and NOT emptied handed. As an outgoing young man and lover of the game of basketball that is NOT my style. I come ready to play at all times and would welcome the opportunity for coaches to come and check me out on the court.
My integrity, dignity and class speak for me. I am well rounded young man who is honest, well liked by friends, students, coaches and class room teachers. I shine when I enter the classroom because I'm a no nonsense student and ALL of my teachers like that about me. As a 4th grader to my current Senior year at Huron High School, I've never gotten in any trouble because I'm a model student. When new students come to Huron, staff members assign them to shadow me because I take it seriously and welcome the opportunity for the new kid to seek the best while getting a view of my high school, Huron High School.
I have loved the game of basketball ever since I was 3 years. However, as a young man it's time for me to do BIGGER and BETTER things, by doing so I'm seeking the opportunity to play on the college level and receive my Bachelor of Science Degree in Computers and Technology. Playing basketball will be a window of opportunity to play the game I love and receive a degree from a university or college in the process.
In closing, the colleges, universities and etc. will NOT be disappointed if they chose me to be a part of their basketball and athletic team because I will NOT disappoint. I welcome the opportunity to meet, text, call, email any and ALL schools who maybe interested in me, Pruitt Allen.
Best regards and thank you for your time,
Pruitt Allen
